Frequently asked questions
Is the date and time I enter sent to a server?
No. All conversions run entirely in your browser, and nothing you enter is ever sent to a server.
Does it account for daylight saving time (DST)?
Yes. It uses your browser's built-in timezone database, so each city's DST rules and transition dates are applied automatically.
What do the "+1" or "-1" badges mean?
They show that the city's calendar date is one day ahead of or behind the base timezone's date. For example, "+1" means it's already the next day there.
The city I want isn't in the list.
Only a curated list of commonly used cities is currently supported. You can still pick your own timezone directly from the base timezone dropdown.
