Usage examples

Combining a multi-page scanned document

Scanned a contract or application form page by page? Add the scanned PDFs in order and merge them into a single file to submit.

Bundling several reports into one

Want to combine separately written PDFs — a cover page, body, and appendix — into one file to send? Arrange them in the order you want and merge.

Reordering before finalizing

Not happy with the order after merging? Use the up/down arrows to rearrange the files and merge again.

Frequently asked questions

Are my files uploaded to a server?

No. Merging happens entirely in your browser, and the files are never sent to a server.

Can I merge password-protected PDFs?

Some encrypted PDFs can't be opened and will show as "Couldn't open this file." In that case, remove the password first and try again.

How do I change the order?

Use the up/down arrows next to each file in the list. The final PDF's page order matches the order shown in the list.

Is there a limit to how many files I can merge?

There's no hard limit, but more files and larger file sizes use more browser memory and take longer to process.
