Your QR code will appear here once you type something
Usage examples
Putting a website link on a business card or poster
Want to replace a long URL on printed material with a single QR code? Enter the link and download it as SVG so it stays crisp at any print size.
Sharing a Wi-Fi password
Tired of repeating your Wi-Fi password to guests? Enter it in the format WIFI:T:WPA;S:YourNetworkName;P:YourPassword;; to create a QR code that connects automatically when scanned.
Preparing a QR code to add a logo to
Planning to put a logo in the middle of the QR code? Set the error correction level to 'High (H)' so it still scans reliably even with part of it covered.
Frequently asked questions
Is what I type sent to a server?
No. The QR code is generated entirely in your browser, and the text you enter is never sent to or stored on a server.
What does the error correction level (L/M/Q/H) mean?
It's the amount of extra data that lets a QR code still be read even if part of it is damaged or covered. Low (L) can recover about 7%, Medium (M) about 15%, Quartile (Q) about 25%, and High (H) about 30%. Higher levels make the pattern denser.
Should I download PNG or SVG?
PNG is fine for screens — websites, social media, etc. If you're printing it large, like on a flyer or poster, download the SVG instead — it's a vector format that stays sharp no matter how much you scale it up.
Is there a character limit?
Yes. A QR code can only hold so much data, and the higher the error correction level, the less text it can hold. If your text is too long you'll see an error — try shortening it or lowering the error correction level.
