Frequently asked questions
Is the date or timer setting I enter sent to a server?
No. All calculations happen entirely in your browser, and what you enter is never sent to a server.
Is it still accurate if I switch to another tab and come back?
Yes. The timer recalculates the remaining time from its end timestamp every time, so it stays accurate even if you've been away on another tab.
Does reloading the page reset the timer?
No. Your target date and a running timer's state are saved, so reloading picks up right where it left off with the correct remaining time.
Why don't I hear the alert sound?
Browsers require at least one interaction (like a click) on the page before audio can play. Also check that the tab isn't muted.
