Frequently asked questions

What order should I upload the images in?

Upload the files from the ZIP starting with the lowest number. Since Instagram shows the newest post at the top-left, you need to post the bottom-right piece first so the last piece you post lands at the top-left, completing the original shape.

Why does my image get cropped?

If your image's aspect ratio doesn't match the selected grid, the edges are cropped from the center so it fills the grid exactly.

How do I choose a grid size?

Instagram's feed is always 3 columns wide, so you only need to pick the number of rows (1–5). 3×3 is the most common square grid.

Is my image uploaded to a server?

No. Everything is processed in your browser, and your image is never sent to a server.
