Frequently asked questions
Does the timer stop if I switch tabs or close the browser?
No. The timer is calculated from a target end time, so reopening the page shows exactly how much time is left, accounting for however long you were away.
Does it automatically switch to a break when focus time ends?
No. When time runs out, a sound plays and the timer stops; you choose the next phase yourself by clicking a tab.
Are my durations or completed count saved?
Yes. Your minute settings and completed focus session count are saved in your browser and stay there when you come back.
I don't hear any sound.
Some browsers restrict audio from playing without a user action. Try starting and stopping the timer once, then try again.
