Frequently asked questions

Is my file uploaded to a server?

No. Splitting happens entirely in your browser, and the file is never sent to a server.

How do I enter a range?

Separate ranges or single pages with commas. For example, '1-3, 5, 8-10' extracts pages 1, 2, 3, then 5, then 8, 9, 10, in that order.

Can I extract pages in a different order?

Yes. The output PDF follows exactly the order you type. For example, '5, 1-2' puts page 5 first, followed by pages 1 and 2.

Can I split a password-protected PDF?

Some encrypted PDFs can't be opened. In that case, remove the password first and try again.
