Usage examples

Checking an invite before adding it to your calendar

Confirm the time and location of a .ics invite you received by email before adding it to your calendar app.

Reviewing a file with multiple events at once

When an exported calendar file contains several events, see each one laid out as its own card instead of a wall of raw text.

Telling all-day events apart from timed ones

See at a glance which events are all-day, like holidays, versus which have a specific start and end time, like meetings.

Frequently asked questions

Is my uploaded file sent to a server?

No. Reading and parsing the file happens entirely in your browser and is never sent to a server.

Can a single ICS file contain multiple events?

Yes. If a file contains multiple events, each one is shown as a separate card.

Can I add the event to my calendar directly from here?

This tool is just for viewing. To actually import the event, open the original .ics file using your calendar app's 'import' feature.

How are events in a different time zone shown?

Events with a specific time zone (TZID) in the file are shown at their original time alongside that zone's name, while events specified in UTC are converted to your browser's local time.
