Frequently asked questions
Is the text I enter sent to a server?
No. Conversion happens entirely in your browser, and what you enter is never sent to a server.
How does it decide where one word ends and the next begins for camelCase/snake_case/kebab-case?
Spaces, hyphens, and underscores all count as word boundaries, and so does a lowercase-to-uppercase transition like in "HelloWorld". That means text already in a different naming convention gets split correctly too.
What's the difference between Title Case and Sentence case?
Title Case capitalizes the first letter of every word (like a book title), while Sentence case only capitalizes the first letter at the start of each sentence (after a period, question mark, or exclamation point).
Does this work on non-Latin text?
This is meaningful for Latin-alphabet text that actually has uppercase/lowercase forms. Scripts without a case distinction won't change.
