Frequently asked questions

Is the HTML I write sent to a server?

No. Rendering happens entirely in your browser, and what you enter is never sent to a server.

Does JavaScript actually run?

Yes. The preview runs inside an isolated iframe, and any <script> inside your HTML runs there too. That iframe is sandboxed so it can't reach the parent page or any other site at all.

Can it load external images or CDN scripts?

Yes. The preview behaves like a normal browser environment, so references like <img src="https://..."> or <script src="https://..."> load normally.

Is what I write saved anywhere?

It's kept only in your browser's local storage so it's still there if you come back later. It's never sent to a server.
