Checking a saved Outlook email without Outlook installed

Reopening an email archived for legal records

Revisit an .msg saved as supporting evidence later on, without needing to log into the original mailbox.

Pulling out just the files attached to an email

Download the attachments bundled inside an .msg one at a time, separate from the original message, to keep or forward them.

Frequently asked questions

Is the uploaded message file sent to a server?

No. Both parsing and rendering happen entirely in your browser, and the file is never sent to a server.

Does script inside the message's HTML actually run?

No. The message HTML is displayed inside a fully sandboxed frame, and no script is ever executed. Since this tool handles mail files from unknown sources, running scripts is deliberately blocked.

Does it load remote images referenced in the body?

If the message HTML references images at an external address, showing the preview can trigger a request to that address. This is the same behavior as a normal mail client, and it's worth knowing that senders sometimes use this to track whether a message was opened.

Can I open the attachments too?

You can download each file from the attachments list. Once downloaded, open it with whatever program matches its format.
