Reusing illustrations from a non-scanned PDF
Extract illustrations or chart images a document's author embedded directly, at their original resolution, for reuse elsewhere.
Frequently asked questions
Is my uploaded PDF sent to a server?
No. Image extraction happens entirely in your browser, and the PDF's contents are never sent to a server.
How is this different from saving a whole page as an image?
Unlike PDF-to-JPG/PNG tools that capture an entire page as a picture, this tool pulls out only the individual image objects actually embedded within the PDF.
Are vector graphics or text extracted as images too?
No. Vector shapes and text aren't extracted — only elements embedded as bitmap (raster) images are.
What happens if the same image repeats across multiple pages?
If the same image object is reused across several pages, it's only extracted once, so it won't show up as a duplicate.
