Is my text sent to a server?
No. All processing happens entirely in your browser, and what you enter is never sent to a server.
Do I need to know regular expressions to use this?
No. With 'Use regular expression' turned off, your find text is matched literally as plain text.
What happens if my regular expression has an error?
If the pattern is invalid, an error message explains what's wrong instead of showing a result.
Can I see how many matches were replaced?
Yes. The match count is shown next to the output label after each replacement.
