Usage examples
Marking a draft document as "CONFIDENTIAL"
Stamp a diagonal text watermark across every page of a not-yet-shared draft PDF, so it's clearly marked even if it leaks.
Stamping a company logo as a watermark
Switch to image mode, upload your company logo, and lower the opacity to add a subtle logo to every page.
Marking sample material with a source watermark
Add a text watermark with your website or attribution to a free sample PDF you're distributing.
Frequently asked questions
Is my uploaded PDF or image sent to a server?
No. Adding a watermark happens entirely in your browser, and neither file is ever sent to a server.
How many pages does the watermark apply to?
The same watermark is applied to every page in the document — you can't select only some pages.
What image formats does the image watermark support?
PNG and JPG are supported. A PNG with a transparent background blends in more naturally.
Can it handle a password-protected PDF?
No. Remove the password with a PDF password-removal tool first, then use this one.
