Can this handle stacked discounts, like a coupon on top of a sale?
This calculator handles a single discount at a time. For stacked discounts, calculate the first sale price, then plug that result back in as the original price for the second discount.
What formula is used to find the discount percentage?
(Original price − sale price) ÷ original price × 100. This can't be calculated if the original price is 0.
Does this include sales tax?
No. This calculator only handles the discount itself — it doesn't add or remove tax. If you need to account for tax, apply your local tax rate to the sale price separately.
